Biography
Cheryl Mele is a Neonatal and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years. She completed her masters degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Touro University Nevada, USA. Her capstone project involves preparing health professionals, especially advance practice nurses in communicating bad news or relational crisis to patients/ families by utilizing technological pedagogical models . She is the director of Dual and Acute Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel Univeristy, a premier College of Nursing and Health Professionals. She has co- authored , published , and reviewd a variety of nursing topics in pediatric nursing. She also practice in variety of acute care settings and currently works at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with the Pain Management Team, Critical Care and Anesthesia Department.
